The Linesport collection in aluminium was produced exclusively between 2011 and 2014. The main idea of LineSport was originally from one of FP Journe’s biggest collectors. He had always hoped that Journe would design a watch that could participate in marathons and triathlons; one that keeps the traditional spirit of the FPJ brand, but also adapt to modern day sports. In order to achieve overall weight reduction, Journe boldly used aluminum on both the case and movement, making the watch weigh only 53 grams. With the movement also made of aluminum, LineSport has become a unique line of work of F.P Journe.
